Masons Dry Yorkshire Gin
Yorkshire is famous for producing many things; puddings, cricket and the Dales are a few that spring to mind. But never before has the country’s largest county produced a gin that they can call its own; until now.
The vision of husband and wife team Karl and Catherine Mason, Masons Yorkshire Gin has been set up in the North Yorkshire market town of Bedale. Their venture is treading new ground in the spirit world and is shaping up to be a real favourite among connoisseurs and novices alike.
After extensive research, development and testing over many months, they have come up with a gin that carries a unique but traditional style, both in taste and image.
The spirit itself is created with only the finest botanicals, Harrogate Spring Water and is distilled using a traditional copper alembic still; a process which has been used for generations to create the finest gins available. As most gins available today are mass produced, this puts Masons Yorkshire in a different class, as their gin is produced in small batches giving it an authentic, handcrafted style.

Karl Mason, who is one of the co-founders of Masons Yorkshire Gin, gives his insight into what makes his gin so unique:
“You wouldn’t believe how long it took to get the recipe right, but through this process, we’ve created an artisan gin that will appeal to the discerning drinker. It’s distilled using traditional, hand crafted methods instead of the factory produced gin that the bigger brands tend to ship out. We set out to create a bespoke Gin that we could be proud of and enjoy and we hope that others will too.
