Pre Noel Charity Day
Sunday 2nd November, 10:00-16:00
On Pre Noel Day we kindly ask our customers to give money to charity to enter the store. In return, shoppers can expect a carnival atmosphere inside with product tastings & preparation ideas, a win a hamper competition, tombola and exclusive festive offers on many fine foods and wines.
This year all entry ticket proceeds will go to a local children’s hospice in Middlesbrough – Zoë’s Place. Zoë’s Place cares for terminally ill children from new born babies to 5 year olds in a home from home environment. 98% of the money raised on our Pre Noel Charity Day will go towards the “respite” care that these children require, and the remaining 2% will be used in their “end of life” care.
On Pre Noel Day our customers enjoy a sneak preview of our Christmas product range, so it’s a great opportunity to browse for Christmas gifts and look for inspiration for your festive dinner table, all whilst raising money for charity. We invite about 40 of our suppliers to store to chat to our customers about their products, preparation ideas and distribute tasty samples, so customers can savour some of the gourmet treats available at Lewis & Cooper.

Daniel Cartwright Cookery Demos
Food Hall, Hamper Department Cookery Theatre
Saturday 30th August, 10.30-16:30
Chef Daniel Cartwright will be cooking a selection dishes for our customers to taste. Part of the Hamper Department at the rear of the store will be transformed for the day into a cookery theatre where Daniel will work his delicious demo magic every 15 to 30 mins - there’s no need for a ticket, just pop along and sample his creations!

Aileen trained with Professor Steven Russell at the International College of Holistic Medicine for four years. Since she completed her Diploma in Homeopathy, she continued her professional development attending seminars. Aileen has just completed a two year course with Madeline Evans. This training focussed on specific areas, for treating teenagers, pre,and post natal remedies / pregnancy, labour, birth and baby treatment, autoimmune system related problems etc. This also included learning all about the new remedies which are now available.
Aileen will be offering personal advice in-store on how Homeopathy can be of a benefit to you and how treatments can be used to treat everyday ailments.

In-Store Tasting - Propolis Lozenges

Propolis is a natural substance collected by honeybees from buds and trees. Propolis contains tree resin, essential oils, waxes and bioflavonoids.
Bioflavonoids are one of the most important components in propolis. The antioxidant effects of bioflavonoids may help to maintain a healthy immune system.

Gluten Free Afternoon with Dr Moore & Dr Hancock
Monday 28th July , 15:00-17:00, Tearooms, Tickets £7.50
Guest Speakers Dr Moore & Dr Hancock accompanied by a dietician will be hosting a formal talk on going gluten free.
After the talk a delicious gluten free high tea will be served.
There will be an opportunity to win a Lewis and Cooper Gluten Free Hamper and a goodie bag of gluten free products will be supplied for you to try.
