Yorkshire 'Rabbit'(V) £4.95 Commonly mis-spelt as 'rarebit' since around 1785, our version includes cheese from Fountain's Dairy, Sam Smith's Oatmeal Stout, and Sheffield's remarkable Henderson's Relish, but the rest we'd quite like to keep secret. Suffice to say, it's a grown ups version really (quite spicy), and served on two halves of a toasted muffin, with a salad garnish and extra Henderson's on the side. Add a slice of our Dry Cured bacon in each for an extra £1.50 Dry Cured Bacon Muffin £3.95 The one thing which we've never dared to remove from the menu since we first opened the Tearoom in 2000. According to the company bean-counter, we've served over 20,000 since then. A freshly toasted muffin with local dry cured bacon. Served with a salad garnish. We can turn this into a Bacon & Egg Muffin for you, with a freshly coddled free-range egg for an extra 75p Yorkshire Farmer's Lunch £5.95 Botham's Pork Pie, Blue Swaledale and White Wensleydale cheeses, served with Raydale Chutney and crusty bread. Smoked Chicken and Bacon Salad £5.95 Mixed leaves, tomatoes and Wildon Grange Honey and Garlic dressing, topped with smoked chicken breast and lardons of Dry Cured Bacon. Yorkshire Ham and Eggs £5.95 / ½ £3.95 A thick slice (served cold) of our home-cooked Yorkshire Ham, served with a brace of 'coddled' organic Yorkshire Farmhouse eggs, with chopped parsley and crusty bread. We can also serve this as a half portion for smaller grown ups. Local Smoked Salmon with homemade Yorkshire 'Oatcakes' £6.95 Smoked Salmon, smoked in the Dales, served with organic unwaxed lemon, Maldon organic black pepper and our homemade oatcakes (they're freshly griddled, a bit like an oaty version of blinis), adapted from a West Yorkshire recipe, circa 1858. Soup of the Day mug £1.95 / bowl £3.50 Freshly made today, served in a mug, and ideal with one of our Sandwich Originals, or by the bowl, and served with crusty bread and Yorkshire butter.	Swaledale Omelette (V) £4.95 A freshly cooked omelette, made with a pair of James Potter's organic hen's eggs, with Swaledale cheese and chopped parsley.
