Lewis & Cooper are sad to report the death of their former Director, Tony Howard.

Tony joined the Company in 1983, rapidly gained the respect and support of the Lewis & Cooper Board and staff, and was at the helm for 23 years, until his retirement in 2006.  He was an icon in the food industry and his skills and expertise were recognized by his appointments to many committees including the Guild of Fine Foods where he was a founder member.  He was ably assisted at the company over many years by his late wife, and daughters, as detailed in the family obituary, published today in the Darlington and Stockton Times.

We will remember him as a fine Yorkshireman and strong stalwart of many family, community and sporting ventures.
