Black Sheep Brewery says:

"The 2014 Tour de France cast the world’s eyes on our fair county and Masham as it whizzed past our brewery door. To celebrate the Yorkshire Grand Depart we created this summery, pale ale as a perfect accompaniment. Such was the success of Velo, and the interest that was generated from the event, we moved the brewing of Velo from our micro-brewery to our main plant and it has now become a permanent member of our bottled flock! Welcome to Velo and happy drinking!"
