Lewis & Cooper strikes gold as Hampers chosen for GB’s Equestrian Olympic Medallists

A North Yorkshire fine food and wine company has been chosen to supply congratulatory gifts to Great Britain’s Olympic and Paralympic Equestrian team, on behalf of Saracen Horse Feeds.

Lewis & Cooper has sent luxury hampers to each of the seven athletes who won a medal in Rio, comprising two gold and five silver medals in total.

Each athlete is to receive a bespoke hamper which includes gastronomic delights such as Scottish Smoked salmon, Waxed Wensleydale cheese, Le Dolci Colline Prosecco, Pheasant Pâté with Champagne, Yorkshire Caramelised Red Onion & Cranberry Chutney, Yorkshire Blackberry jam, and a selection of exclusive Lewis and Cooper specialities, including Handmade Luxury Truffles, Hand Roasted Coffee and Luxury Handmade Fruitcake.

“The hampers have been packed with items of the highest quality, as a way to recognise the great achievement of these athletes,” said Lewis & Cooper’s Operations Director, Victoria Howard.

“We thought long and hard about how we could produce a gift worthy of such talented individuals and their horses, packing each hamper with quality and care, choosing our best selling products and matching items of gold and silver labelled products which go well together.

“It’s been an honour and a pleasure creating the hampers and we’re delighted to have been chosen to celebrate such a special occasion.”

Having spoken to several national companies, the animal feeds manufacturer which sponsors the Equestrian teams, believed Lewis & Cooper to be the right business to deliver a gift to meet their requirements.
